WOO HOO! I will be at DLR in 3 days! I am a bit melancholy as this will be my last trip for a while and my AP expires 5/5/09 and I don't think I will be renewing.

The BF and I just decided two days ago to make a quick three day two night trip down to SoCal for my 24th birthday, and a trip to Disneyland is a must!
Disneyland and WDW in one year - I'm blessed!

33 days till I bring my youngest daughter to DL for the first time, a 'mom-n-me' trip. A surprise for her-- we'll tell her on her bday just 2 days before we leave. She'll love it!

I just came back from the travel agent and payed off our August 16 to August 29 trip . how ever we still have flights to book either from Providence or Boston, hopefully in the next two weeks. We are thinking of flyng out on the 15- because it would be quit cheaper a piece and then book a room at the Airport Hyatt (with AAA discount ). All I know is WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY in 54 DAYS!!!

Just wondering ... are you going to Disneyland or Disneyworld? LOL ... it seems you have been to WDW a lot and this was in the DLR forums ... either way, CONGRATS!

Since booking a DL vacation doesn't quite have the same excitment as booking a WDW vacation, it hasn't really seemed real yet even though we booked our hotel months ago along with our flights.
We have now booked our 2 meal reservations. Goofy's brunch Sunday, 16 Aug 09 and a dinner at the Blue Bayou Monday, 17 Aug 09 to celebrate my birthday + 2 months. Couldn't take the trip in Jun as DS was still in school.
We are actually down to 35 days 8 hours until we leave on our vacation, but we don't get to DL until 11 days later. We then have 7 nights at the Grand Californian. We are also going to do the Segway tour on the Friday, 14 Aug 09 and thinking about doing the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour. Now that we were able to actually book something it is all starting to seem much more real. I am actually starting to get excited! Just wish some days that there was more planning to do. I have also ordered my video tapes for my video camera......they always seem to be out of them when I go to purchase them.

You are going to have a great time! Our family first visited Disneyland in 2004, and we have gone back almost every year since (2 times last year actually!). The Grand Cal is so nice and you will really love the Blue Bayou. Have a wonderful trip. I wish I was going with you!

Goodness! The last time we went to Disneyland, we were very excited! We couldn't wait to book certain things such as our lunch at Blue Bayou, our dinner at Napa Rose, our Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour, and our Fantasmic dessert package!
