2009 Disneyland Trip Countdown Thread

Well I am all packed and ready to drive to Omaha where we will catch our flight in the morning. Day started off rough because our car died with my daughter driving so she couldn't steer and ran into a parked car. Really ticks me off because I just got it back from the mechanic and he said it was fine to drive.

Luckily we have another car. My dh's cousin works for a motel chain so we were able to get a motel tonight for 39.95 plus tax.

I will be back soon with a report.

We haven't booked yet, but plan to go the 2nd week of August. We leave Ontario 2 Aug to go to Las Vegas, then leave Las Vegas 7 Aug to head over to California and the Disneyland area. Should be booking it next week!

We leave Saturday!! We plan to drive through the snowy mountains on Saturday and spend the night with DHs aunt in Bakersfield.

Sunday we drive to Anaheim, and check into our hotel, and meet up with my mom and Diznee4me.

Going to the parks next Monday!!!

We leave Monday, June 1st! We'll be in DL at Hojo Anaheim from the 1-4 and then, on to The Mirage for the 4-6.

Can't come fast enough!!!!

You will have to let me know how the Howard Johnsons is. We are booked there for the 10 - 19 Aug. We are doing Vegas, then Los Angeles then onto Anaheim. 2 1/2 weeks total.

At this time tomorrow I will be just about walking through the front gates of Disneyland ... and getting a CHURRO!

Boarding Group A on Southwest ... and I check in tomorrow at about 6am with 2 stops enroute! Oh the joys of traveling out of a wee city!

We'll be there monday(possibly sunday).

BIL and SIL are here visiting from out of state. BIL is military and SIL wants to take advantage of the military offer...they are offereing to take us.

Hopefully it's a little better than the first time she went, the day after Christmas!! LOL

Just for this post.....I think that you will have to eat a churro (I personnally would prefer a dole whip)
