You may enable your child to track Santa today at www.noradsanta.org.. I don't think the Intercot powers would mind this link since it is a good geography lesson (and fun too)
Happy Celebration!

We are tracking him through the site, but I am having a hard time explaining to DS (4) why the big man has started delivering gifts when we just got up . Any advice about how to explain it to him? DD (2) doesn't really care why, she just wants to know (again) when he will get to our house .
Try explaining night and day and the earth's rototion by using a globe and a flashlight and turn the earth to daylight and into night (darkness) at least that is how we show it to young elementary age students. Good Luck and Merry Christmas!

DD12 no longer believes, but she's been tracking him all day. She is my youngest and this is the first year where nobody believes in Santa. Kind of sad.
Things really have changed! I can remember when they said on the news that NORAD was tracking him on their radar. Some of those older TV special effects were pretty cheesey, but I always thought that was soo cool
