Tables in Wonderland/DDE

Can someone bring to light the details of the Tables in Wonderland vs DDE. I have read everything I can get my hands on from the official WDW website, but I thought the DDE gave discounts to QS as well as TS, and I see the new Tables in Wonderland doesn't list any QS places. Is this correct? Or am I missing something.

We are going to try TIW this next trip instead of the DDP as we seem to be scrambling to always use up our QS and snack credits at the end of the vacation. To stressful for me.

The DDE gave discounts at a very, very limited number of counter service locations. They were mainly at resorts that did not have table service locations. As an example--the discount was offered at the food courts All-Stars and Pop.

I renewed last month and haven't looked to see if that is still the case.

Tables in Wonderland is just the new name for the DDE. Nothing has changed.

Like mentioned previously, the only QS locations that accepted DDE were for those resorts that had no TS option (value resorts).

The only thing that's changed is the name...they only QS discounts were at resorts, & I think maybe at AK as well.

The TIW card covers the same places as the DDE card did.

Very few CS locations were ever offered- just in resorts without a TS option.

An exception was (and still is) at AK. The card is still accepted at Flame Tree and PIzzafari. Tusker House is also still included, but that is now TS.

Hey Kris, if I can find my papers from last trip (I know they're here somewhere!), I'll send you a copy. Of course, you've seen my house - I'm not guaranteeing that I can find it, especially not at this time of year.

The list that I received when we purchased a new card in July (updated 4/17/08) lists the following QS:

All Star Movies - Food Court
All Star Music - Food Court
All Star Sports - Food Court
Pop Century - Food Court
Animal Kingdom - Pizzafari, Flame Tree

Over the years, we've saved a lot of cash with the DDE/TIW card. The key is to plan ahead and make sure your ADRs are in place so that you can be assured of taking advantage of the discounts.
