Okay, I read through all the posts and does anyone have the 3rd and 4th weeks of April off besides MA and NH?

I was afraid it was going to be a very busy time, but maybe I was wrong...I'll just be dropping my "r"'s with the rest of the guests.

CT starts the day after Easter. I was able to get ressies at Le Cellier for dinner every night the other day, so I hope that is a good sign that the crowds won't be as bad as I first thought.

Way out here in the great Northwest, we're the week before Easter. Since we will be there for our spring break, I'm glad to see a lot of breaks happening either before or after ours. We got ressies at Le Cellier for Easter (and this was after the 90 day booking window was open), so hopefully most of our trip won't be too bad crowd wise.

This is the time period we went in 2007. We loved it. There were plenty of people, but the wait times were very short to none on almost everything. We used FP on the rides that were longer. One word of advice, wear a hat if you're waiting for a parade at DHS. My scalp was burned where I had a part in my hair!

We don't drop our Rs in the entrire Western half of MA. That's just in the areas closer to Boston. Just saying.

We're in the metro Denver area, in the largest school district in the state, (Jefferson County) and our spring break is the week of March 29th. Denver Public Schools has their break starting March 22.

Default College Spring Break for IPFW

My husband's spring break from Indiana University-Purdue University in Fort Wayne, IN, is March 7th - 15th. We booked our trip literally just a couple hours before Disney extended their promotion for the book 4 nights, get 3 free - which now doesn't include the week we're there! Talk about blessings! I'm just worried now about that week being very busy since they excluded it...Thoughts?

that time of March is when most college kids are off and it's also when Canadian kids are off. Any week between President's Week in February and Easter in April, you can pretty much bet that there is gonna be some region that is off from school.

Default When is Spring Break where you live?

SInce so many people ask about crowds and spring break this time of year, I thought it may be good to have a thread like this. Where we can all post where we live and when the school spring break is in our area.

    I'll go first!

I live in the Birmingham, Alabama area, and school spring breaks here are next week, March 16-20.

Wow, it looks like the weather can't be much better for people who plan on going down then!

DD is really looking forward to it, I'm only working part-time right now, so we're planning a great week together

Morristown's school district is closed April 6 - 10. The HS sports teams play through the week though so we'll be staying home.

Our Spring Break is April 13-17. It is usually this week in March but for some reason our district decided to change it to April. Last year, we actually had two weeks, one in March and one in April. That made no sense to me. Must not have to anyone else either because this year they went back to one week and moved it to April. They are already talking on the local news about the traffic getting heavy here with Spring Breakers heading to FL so just watch the speed limits and crazies. The law enforcement is out in droves watching the roads.

April 4-12 is ours. I live and teach in Charlotte. My DS 7 and I are heading down for a "boys only" trip. We know it will be crowded but hey it beats the heck out of being in school!!!
