Hayden has gone home

[Hayden's Dad]

It is with a very heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I tell you that our little angel has gone home. Hayden passed away Saturday Dec. 6 at 2:45pm. All three of us were laying down watching "Chicken Little" (his first movie) and his giraffe that plays "A dream is a wish your heart makes" and when the song stopped Hayden was gone. He went very peacefully and basically just went to sleep.

His visitation will be Saturday Dec 13 at 12:00 at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, on Elm Street in Greensboro, NC with the service follwing afterwards we are then going to a local park and doing a balloon release half of the balloons will be "Mickey" balloons, big surprise huh.

Thank you all so much for all the love, support, prayers and especially pixie dust that we have gotten over the years. We know in our hearts that Hayden is in a much better place and probably sitting on Uncle Walt's lap right now telling him how many times he met Mickey.

Kyle, I wish there were words to describe how sorry I am to hear of Hayden's passing. Although we've never met, I could tell in each of your posts how much you and Eva love him. I will continue to send prayers your way to get through the trying times ahead. (I'm sure that Uncle Walt was thrilled to hear about Hayden's adventures in WDW... what a comforting thought.)

I just happened to come on today for the first time in about 6 months. Oh Kyle, I am so very sorry. I will never forget meeting him last year. He was just so beautiful and I treasure kissing him on the forehead.

Hayden's full name was Hayden David Jones. We will have an online memorial that anyone can post too either on Friday or Saturday and I will post it here whenever we know more about it. The address for the funeral home is 515 North Elm Street, Greensboro, NC 27401. If you would like our home address then just PM me.

We would love donations made in Hayden's name in lieu of flowers or anything else to either Hunter'shope.org which is the foundation researching cures for Krabbe disease, Kids Path of Greensboro, NC or Hospice of Greensboro, NC.
