MK Town Square Characters

I was wondering if anyone knew what characters were out in Town Square at MK currently. I was at the park back in August and the character line up seemed to be Chip, Dale and Pluto pretty much all day and Snow White, Pinocchio, Geppetto, Jiminy Cricket, Mary Poppins and Bert in the morning. Are the characters pretty much the same? I've heard rumors that Bert has been cut from the line-up and maybe Jiminy and was wondering if this was true.

Also, I've been hearing rumors of Wendy, Woody, Jessie and Darby being cut as well. Any word on these characters?

Yes, those are the characters that are in Town Square.

And it is true about Bert, Wendy, Woody, Jessie, and Darby. They are no longer out currently.

When I was there in August the characters I saw at Town Square were pretty much always:
Daisy Duck, Clarabelle, Horace, Chip and Dale, and Pluto.

Who is Darby?

Darby is Christopher Robin's cousin who was his replacement and she is Tigger's best friend. She is no longer meeting at all.

Wendy, and the others are now limited to parades and special events.

Thanks! What about Daisy, Horace and Clarabelle? I assume they disappeared after the Family Fun Day Parade ended?

I'm pretty sure Daisy is still meeting, but Horace and Clarabelle are gone.

Since October, the only characters that I personally have seen greeting guests in Town Square have been Pluto, Daisy, Chip & Dale, Pinocchio, Mary Poppins and Mr. Penguin.

As for Clarabelle, Horace, Bert, Wendy, etc., let's keep our fingers crossed that they'll at least continue to at least appear randomly at locations such as the Toontown Teardrop and that they'll make a speedy return to regular meet-and-greets.

Curse the horrible state of our economy!

Yes. But that is the only spot he can be found now (Woody no longer meets at MK, except for the special events).

Does Daisy usually have a specific location in Town Square where she usually appears now (near the flag poll, City Hall, or Expo Hall)? Also, is Mr. Penguin often out with Mary? I noticed that DisneyNut2005 had mentioned him and was curious if this is common.

Daisy is usually in front of the fire station next to the emporioum.

Mr Penguin as far as know does not have a regular spot. But he is out often at the Fantasmic Meet N Greet at DHS with Mary Poppins. He can also be found at the teardrop as a regular guest there. We usually see him among the characters who spring in for a teardrop visit, but not always. I also remember him being out in town sqaure at the MVMCP, but that may have changed. I would say if your in the parks for a week and you are looking for him you have a better than 50/50 shot of seeing him, but who knows with all the cutbacks going on.

I did see Wendy out on October 31 when I got off Pirates of the Carribean. She was with Peter Pan, and it was around 5:30pm, when their sets currently end for the day. They were getting their picture taken with some kid when I first spotted them, and then they went off to their break area. They seemd to be a really good Peter and Wendy, and I was amazed how well they stayed in character when they were walking off!

Also, I spoke with a CM in the toy store at EPCOT's United Kingdom pavillion on November 8 (about a week later). She ran the Kidcot Fun Stop there, and mentioned that Peter Pan and Wendy appeared at the character spot inside the shop around opening time (11am). Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore were in the toy store then (this was around 6pm).

Sorry to get into so many details, but I thought maybe I'd help someone find their favorite character(s)!

The last time I saw Characters in Town Square was when I was visiting the MK for a half-day a few weeks ago (I had a party that evening.) and I saw Pluto, Chip, and Dale to boot. I didn't meet them, though.
