The Heidi Game?

We have a winner!

DH and I were watching college game this weekend (can't remember which one) where one team was behind with a couple minutes to go, then scored and recovered an onside kick. We were talking about the likelihood that they'd be able to score again quickly enough to win (they didn't), and I mentioned that Oakland scored two TDs very close together in the Heidi game.

That sent me on a Googling adventure until I found how close together the TDs were scored (9 seconds). While researching, I found the date: November 17, 1968.

I remember the event only because my parents were very upset that they missed such a great ending. I was 5, and very happy to watch "Heidi".
