May hours?

I just got off the phone with Disney and I am being told that the May hours may not be released until the new year. They are suposedly struggling with the new DDP and trying to figure out the ADR system and all that rolled together is causing a delay. I have also emailed WDW and told them of my disappointment with the whole thing. My OCD is taking over and I can't take one more second of not being able to plan things. I am at 170 days and I would normally have everything already booked and planned by now. I can't take this, it's driving me crazy.

i totally agree! we are near 160 days out with no plans to speak of - the worst year for disney planning ever - in reality i know i should be thankful that we are even able to go to disney but i gotta tell ya my OCD is in the drivers seat right now and im freakin' out

I'm at 162 days. I don't know what EMHs exist, I don't know what to do!!!! I know what I want to eat at each park but not when. This is frustrating from those of us who love to plan and having everything set up. I haven't gone wihtout ADRs since our 2006 trip. Can you imagine the mad rush when they get the system set up?

Hehe, I'm sorry! Disney is really waiting until after the New Years crowds go away to determine EVERYTHING.

I mean, there is a lot resting on the next year. If the economy doesn't look like it will get any better, they will start planning for layoffs. If they see an improvement, they will start opening the reservations and such.

Yup, but we are only going to be together a few days. We are going the 12th-22nd. You don't arrive until the night of the 18th, right? We need to cram a bunch of stuff in!! WOOHOO!!

i was just at wdw i booked my next trip for may 14 -21 i was able to make my cinderella and chef mickey ressie but nothing else they told me not until march 22 for the other reserations because they are updating the adr system?

I think I'll be able to make my Cruise excursion ressies before my ADRs for the WDW stay.

This is just crazy. Can you imagine their call center the day they release the dates? So many people calling into a new ressie system. WOW. Poor agents! I haven't gone to the world without ADRs and a basic plan (EMH) in the past 4 trips.

They told you March 22nd? That is not going to work for me! We will be there 4/29 to 5/5. I can not take this. Not having this planned is keeping me awake at night.

According to the CM I spoke with, the new availability for ADR's to call and book past March 22nd would be December 22nd. Right now, you can only book through March 22nd. So, on December 22nd, as we are being told, they should be flooded with calls, and we will probably all be told we have to wait longer. I only have my Chef Mickey and Cindy's breakfast booked as well. You can bet I'll be on the phone December 22nd right at 7am. I can hold all day, I have free long distance.

I so hope we can make those ADRs on Monday (although I would like to know my hours first being able to do something would be great!). I'm setting the alarm for 6:30 and am going to start dialing at 6:50 to allow for time differences and just keep hitting redial! I love free long distance!

It will be OK. We'll all be in queue for agents together. At least they play happy Disney music.

Then I can start planning the excursions for the cruise . This is my first time doing that.

May Hours still not posted. Called DVC member line and they can't made ADRs yet. Depression sets in.

What if I can't do the safari? I've been looking forward to that since I got my AKV points. The other things I'll just go with. I'm really considering not making any ADRs and bagging the dining plan. We'll have plenty of time to sit and relax at meals on the boat after the 4 days at the world.

Part of the fun for me is planning, though. And my family really appreciates time for us to sit down and talk since we split up a bit (16DD and 7 DD).
