Yep, their Meet & Greet opened in the Magic of Disney Animation post-show area on November 9, 2008.

I think by special events - meaning, if they have too many spares or even DCE.

But don't expect them out too long. They are another promotional group so I'd guess...maybe until January or February at the latest.

Dumb question, but here goes...

Why does Disney spend all that $$ on the costumes and then only have the characters out for a short time and then disappear?

There seems like so much $ and time invested in the costumes to never be seen again.

Also, really unfair to guests, because even though Meet the Robinsons (for example) is no longer in theaters, we would still love to see the characters out. Same thing for Ratatouille. Emile and Remy were so cute!

There just doesn't seem to be a rationalle behind it. It is nice to see new characters for a change, instead of the same all the time.

Any ideas?

Eek! No!!! They can't do that! I'm not down til March! Disney, please don't remove them before the end of March.

As for the money spent, they really aren't that much. Not if you've seen the pictures. They appear to be very minimal to them, other than the hamster.

Actually, they DO listen and you know that!

Remember: if you want certain characters to be kept around or brought back, you must tell them directly, especially if you write a letter.

Written letters are taken more seriously than e-mails.
