$200 gift card with PKG, can i use it for BB?

Hello,

We won't be getting the waterpark option for our upcoming trip, but let's say we do decide to go to Blizzard Beach, will I be able to use the $200 gift card received with the new pkg to pay for admisson into the water park? Or if we don't do the water park, how about the pirates and princess party, will I be able to use it for that?

I'm assuming it is a normal Disney gift card, and they are good anywhere in the world. I would think you could use it for BB or P&P.

I thought I heard somewhere that you cannot use it for food though. I know that many of the restaurants are not owned by Disney, so possible that would be why?

It works for us though, as each kid will have $100 to spend while there!

Only the participants won't accept it. Disney restaurants should be able to use it.

Sounds like this is a normal, unrestricted gift card.

Tbelle1976, you might be thinking of the Birthday Fun Card, for guests who already have theme park admission by annual pass or package. Those are "for you to use on your birthday for merchandise, recreation or fun activities at select participating locations at Walt Disney World® Resort." No mention of dining.

It is a regular DIsney Gifts card. You may use it at any place Disney operates. Just some places may not accept them like The Swan and Dolphin hotels since they are not operated by disney. They have a choice to participate in the gift cards. You may use them for everything! You can purchase theme park tickets, food, and souvenirs. i put most of my spending money on the card the last time I went and was even able to take my tip at sit down meals off of the gift card. You can also add money to the gift card and they do not expire or charge any types of fees.
