I'm looking to do the same thing, fly into Paris and stay at Disney's Sequoia Lodge for a couple of days before hand, then somehow get to Dover for the cruise. This is going to be great!

In 2002 we flew to CDG from EWR, stayed at Hotel New York for 2 nights, then took the Eurostar Train to London, and the next day we took the train from London to Southampton for our cruise around the British Isles on Princess.

How easy was it? And do you think it's better to go thru a travel agent on something like this?

We are booked too for the 11 night Mediterranean Cruise on August 7, 2010! If anyone has any advice for researching ports...I am all ears! Book suggestions, websites, etc...Also, if anyone did this similar cruise with DCL in the past, I would love to get the ins and outs for the trip!! The airfare cost to Barcelona is causing me a bit of anxiety, I guess it is time to start saving now!

    Congratulations to you all!

I had hoped that my son and I would be on either the Dover-Barcelona cruise or the Aug 7 Med cruise. I sure would have loved to have met you all but in our case, the economic situation has made it impossible for us to fund those dreams! But I certainly can be super happy for you all!

    Same for us Ellen.

As a consolation prize, I *am* looking at one of the Adventures By Disney. They are cheaper than the Northern Europe Sailing I was looking at.

as much as I want to go to Russia, The Czech Republic or Ireland look really interesting as well!

    Congrats to all of you!

We would love to do a Transatlantic Repo cruise, but like I said before, we are holding out for one of the first cruises on the new ships!

Plus, we gotta go out for a big bang when (if ever) I start and FINISH grad school!

Happy planning and sailing to you all!

    I am super jealous!

I booked the cruise thru a online travel agency, but I did the DLP, the Eurostar, Eurorail and the London hotels myself using their online websites. Worked fine.

    That's saying a LOT, Nanc!

I've seen the prices for the Adventures by Disney (while drooling over the brochures and website) and they made me .
