Which has heavier crowds

I am trying to avoid taking my daughter out of school for too many days, but have already done the week between Christmas and New Years and really didn't like the crowds. We went the week before Christmas and found the crowds much lighter getting heavier as we got close to Christmas, which was much better. How are the crowds the day before Thanksgiving through Monday after Thanksgiving compared to before and during Christmas? How are the crowds from New Years Eve through the 3rd or 4th of January? Any insight into what you've experienced would be helpful.

They aren't as bad as the Christmas time crowds, but they're still pretty heavy. The Sunday and Monday after Thanksgiving drop to moderate instead of heavy crowds, but the rest of that time period is pretty crowded.

It's going to be very crowded. Not as crowded as Christmas, but very bad. Do what you can early, then enjoy shows, parades, and the resorts as the day wears on.

Like others have said...it will be very crowded, but not like Christmas Day/week crowded. We usually always go the week before thanksgiving, and the day/night before we leave to go back home the difference in crowds is just tremendous!!! It went from having no waits for all the rides...to hour long waits and just crowds everywhere. That is why we like going the week before. This year we are going two weeks before thanksgiving and I'm not worried at all.
