Default Disney Mania Question # 15

Okay some say that Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios are half day parks. On your last day of vacation, before you leave to go to the airport you have the option of visiting either AK or DHS (no other parks are avaliable for you to visit so play along). You have approximately half of a day to visit which one do you pick?

On Monday Disney Mania Question #16 will appear in the Dining forum of Intercot. Have a great weekend and I will post the reacap of questions 5-10 at some point this weekend in the Mousellaneous forum of Intercot.

I know a lot of people really enjoy AK, but it just hasn't ever been that great for us...so we'd go to DHS...Toy Story Mania, ToT & RnR for DH, and awesome shows

We really love Animal Kingdom. I would hate to skip Tower of Terror and I'm looking forward to Toy Story Mania, but if we had to choose one, it would be AK.

I really wanted to pick the AK ... but voted for DHS.

My reasoning is ... The Jamin' Jungle Parade is my fave ... and if I go to the AK and don't see the parade my day isn't complete! The parade is too late in the day for the "half day" program.

So I voted DHS, for a few more rides on TSM, ToT and RnR ... and could hopefully squeeze in some cool shows too!

I chose DHS because I can do that park in a half day. I prefer AK but I can't do that park in a half day.

In truth, it would probably depend on what we felt like that day but in general it would likely be DHS. TOT is one of our favorites and in 1/2 day we could squeeze in TOT, RNRC, and Muppets easily and if you could get the right FP time maybe Toy Story Mania.

I think that there is more for me to do at AK, I can do DHS in 1/2 day but Ak is a lot of walking and takes a full day now.

My vote went to DHS. This park used to be a half day for us...but the last couple of years, we've spent a little more than a half day there, but it is still not a full day. I could not leave without riding ToT, RnRC, TSM, and see some shows and parades. AK is always a half day...it just gets too hot during the day.

I picked DHS. It's always been a full day park for my family as we do every ride (mutiple times) and show and take our time walking around the park enjoying the "sets".
I have always found AK to be extremely boring. The only thing my family does there is the safari, bug's life, and my sister rides everest. We can usually get it done in a morning EMH before the park even offically opens.
I would go to DHS w/ my half-day. I would ride toy-story, star-tours, and probably see lights, motors, action and the 3D muppets movie.

EE by itself almost makes me go with AK, but not quite! Here's another vote for DHS!

EE and another safari would be what I would do. DHS takes me a while to get into the mood of the park, unlike others.

I went with DHS. My youngest DD loves TOT. I love RNRC, VOTLM, GMR & TOT. To us there isn't that much to do at AK.

First of all I would take about 5 minutes to cry that I wouldn't get to ride on TOT and RNRC- they are awesome rides- but my love of animals is HUGE!!!! ANy chance I get to go to a zoo- any zoo I am there.

It would be AK for us, as it is on the way out along Western Way. Either would be OK for us, because being there would mean we have not left yet

While we like AK more than DHS, I would feel too rushed to enjoy AK with only half a day. We like to linger and take our time there.

I chose DHS only because we could hit a couple of our favorites and not feel like we are rushing. We tend to move more quickly there anyway, so I wouldn't mind spending my half day there.
