Dollars
Can you please tell me if you can use Canadian Dollars at WDW? My friend is going to Canada and has said that she will give me her unused dollars if she had any left but I do not know if they will be accepted. Here in England we accept Scottish pounds etc. but I was not sure if it was the same, Please forgive me ignorance

Canadian $$
I would check w/ the front desk of the hotel to see if they have Canadian Currency exchange.
Quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies are no problem.
The Canadian dollar coin, $2 coin and larger, I doubt would be accepted anywhere but a front desk.
Believe it or not, here in NY, 2 hours from Canada, my HSBC (global bank) bank, refused to exchange Canadian currency. I asked what was I supposed to do w/ it, and they told me "go back to Canada"--

Legally, no business should accept foreign currency except a currency exchange business. I doubt WDW accepts foreign currency, but I would venture to guess they have an exchange somewhere on site or very close.

I can't remember what they had at the Orlando airport, but at the Philly airport, they have little booths where they will convert your currency.

There are three currency exchanges in Orlando Int'l (MCO):
- Hyatt Atrium, near the Kennedy Space Center Store
- West Atrium, under Chili's Too escalators
- Bag Claim area on the "B" side of the terminal, level 2
Operating hours: 8:00 am to 7:00 pm local time.

1) Any WDW resort front desk will accept/exchange foreign currency.
2) They have a published exchange rate avaiable for reference.
3) There is no additional fee.
