Default Your favorite resort TO BE AT

What is your favorite resort to actually be at...and by that I don't mean what is your favorite resort to stay in because of its convenience in terms of visiting the theme parks (i.e monorail access or walking to Epcot)...but which resort would you choose, if you were going to actually spend the majority of your vacation time outside of the theme parks and relaxing/recreating at the resort itself.

My pick is AKL. (love the pool, lobby, and animals.)
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow

    well....beach club is the best....

    so I pick POP!...

kidding...actually, to be at, I would probably say the Poly (though the lack of hottubs irks me to no end)
I would also say Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom rank high as well.

I actually....though i don't stay there much anymore....love Dixie Landings (yes....I said DIXIE LANDINGS) and Coronado

It's a tie: CSR because of the pool and the grounds and WL because of the ability to rent boats and eating at Artist Point.

My husband and I absolutely love WL. We have stayed there 4 times and everytime we go there, it's like going home. The lobby, the pool, the lake, I love it all. So my vote, absolute WL!

ps-I still call it Dixie Landings too!

For me it's a tie between CBR and POFQ.

I love the hammocks at CBR. You can just lay on them and look up at the sky. And the sky is actually blue in Florida. And I love the plants.

I like POFQ....not sure why, but the beignets are good. The palm trees and the arch things are nice too. And the fountains.

The contemporary - in the main area overlooking the Grand Canyon Concourse. It's the one thing that first amazed me the most when I was a kid and the monorail to me is such a strong symbol of wdw it would be great to just walk out of my room and get right on...

    Polynesian all the way!!!

I have never stayed at this resort, but still name it as my favorite on property. Every trip it is tradition for me to visit the poly for a meal or to just walk around, grab a drink and chill on the beach, and take in the atmosphere...it truely is beautiful, and just being there once or twice during our stay, really makes my trips that much better. I love it there!!!
Been there, Haven't done it all...GOING BACK!!!

Next trip "Home" - September 3-10th 2016 at the Beach Club Resort! Giannas 1st trip to WDW!!!

The Grand Floridian, no question about it.

I jut love making a stop in the afternoon from MK/Epcot and walking the grounds or sitting in the lobby and soaking in the atmosphere. It's a great way to wind down before dinner.

Hmmm - I'd have to say AKL as well - or the Poly. Love the atmosphere and dining at both.

For me it was hard to choose just one, since I like 3 for all the same reasons. My three are the Wilderness Lodge, Poly, and Boardwalk. All three offer great forms of recreation and dining.

For me, it would be one of the three following:

    1) Yacht Club: for the pool and proximity to great restaurants (Flying Fish, Beaches and Cream, etc); also the Christmas decorations at the Epcot resorts are fabulous.

    2) Animal Kingdom Lodge: I love animals and the dreamy kind of atmosphere , sprinkled with the African music and art, is really cool. I could just sit around and look at the animals for hours. This resort also has two great restaurants! It is also the first WDW resort I've ever stayed at, so it's sentimental

    3) Fort Wilderness campground: I love this place. There's so much to do just at the campground.
