Default In Conclusion: The Perfect Finish for a WDW vacation

What makes for a perfect finish to your WDW vacation...i.e. last park, last meal, last ride, last show or parade, last shop, last souvenier purchased... for me it would be:

    park -Magic Kingdom
    meal -Crystal Palace
    ride -Buzz Lightyear
    show -Electric Water PArade
    shop -Goofy's Candy Store
    purchase Chocolate Covered Coconut Mickeys

We always end our trip with eating HotDogs from Caseys while watching SpectroMagic and then Wishes at the Magic Kingdom.

That sounds so nice right now. That is what I do when we are at MK.

We always end our trip with spending what time we have at DTD. Getting last minute souvenirs, just walking around, going to Earl of Sandwich and Ghirardelli.

Finish a vacation at MK watching Spectromagic, then Wishes, then FP ride on Space mountain, then head right for the ice cream shoppe on Main St. for a double of anything. Followed up with some last minute (hour) shopping and hoping we make the last ride back.

We always seem to do different things our last day.

But, my ideal last day would probably be one of 2 things:

1 - a morning & afternoon at the MK. We'd do our favorite rides again, have a light lunch, do some shopping on Mainstreet.

2 - an evening at Epcot. We'd have dinner at one of our favorites, get some dessert, and sit & watch the fireworks.

Well our last day we always spend relaxing by the pool, winding down from our never stop magical week in the world.

Our last park is Magic Kingdom leaving after everyone gets to ride their favorite ride and after seeing wishes of course.

For our anniversary trip in 2006, we had what my DW and I believe to be the best last day of our trip we could've asked for.

After getting up early and loading our luggage into the car, we headed to MK for a half day there. We rode all the rides that we knew we wanted to end with and then headed back towards Main St. We bought a few items at the Emporium and grabbed us some fresh dipped ice cream cones. While we were sitting on one of the little stoops on Main St. eating our treats, we were approached by the Dapper Dans and they serenaded us with love songs and wished us a safe trip home.

It was a very simple gesture, but really put us on a Disney World high as we left to head home that day. It's something neither one of us will ever forget!
I would rather entertain and hope that people learned something than educate people and hope they were entertained.

Last park is always MK....Last ride is sometimes TTA, for a last tour....or CoP, or Space Mountain.....or whatever we missed earlier that trip....
No one seems to want to waste time that last night on a sit down, so whatever ADR we have made is usually cancelled....last food purchase for me is a Dole Whip, on my way to Tomorrowland, or an Ice Cream cone on the way to the gate....Usually wind up going towards gate through stores on left side of street, during last parade...last purchase is usually candy or coffee....or a bag of Mickey pretzels, to munch on on our drive home....and then, to the monorail, for one last ride.
