    Aug. 20, 1833 – Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd U.S. President, was born in North Bend, Hamilton County, Oh. He could be visited with all the U.S. Chief Executives at WDW’s “Hall of Presidents” attraction.
    Aug. 20, 1907 – Veteran radio actor Alan Reed, the voice of TV cartoon character Fred Flintstone and Boris in Disney’s 1955 classic “Lady and the Tramp,” was born Edward Bergman in N.Y.C.
    Aug. 20, 1928 – Disney’s Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cartoon “Hot Dog” was released.
    Aug. 20, 1928 – Imagineer and Disney Legend Harriet Burns was born in San Antonio, Tx. She would go on to help create Sleeping Beauty Castle, New Orleans Square, the Haunted Mansion, and many other Theme Park attractions.
    Aug. 20, 1932 – Disney’s black and white cartoon “Trader Mickey” was released.
    Aug. 20, 1933 – United States political leader George Mitchell was born in Waterville, Me. A member since 1995 of the Walt Disney Company board of directors, he became Disney’s board chairman in 2004.
    Aug. 20, 1974 – Actress Amy Lou Adams was born in Vicenza, Italy to American parents. She appeared as Princess Giselle in the Walt Disney Pictures Fanatsy animated/live-action film “Enchanted.”
    Aug. 20, 1989 – Lionel Hampton and his Big Band performed at Disneyland for the first of a 7-day engagement.
    Aug. 20, 1992 – Actress and singer/songwriter Demi Lovato was born in Dallas, Tx. Best known to Disney Channel fans as Mitchie Torres in “Camp Rock,” she also appeared in the series “As The Bell Rings” (as Charolette Adams).
    Aug. 20, 2000 – “Lucky the Dinosaur,” the standalone Animatronic Dinosaur premiered at Disney’s California Adventure.
