Last week of Aug.

Sadly, we've only been during the busier times of the year, June, Easter, Graduation, Thanksgiving... The boys and I, less DH are taking a quick trip the last week in Aug and I'm a little curious about the crowd level. I see the hours are shorter and there are fewer EMH, especially in the evening. I'm also aware that many of the school systems, especially here in NC particular, start school this week if not before. So how is it I guess, compared to early-mid June especially?

I think you'll find it comparatively quiet. We were there in that week last year. Weekday crowds had ten-twenty minute waits for major rides with the exception of Test Track and Soarin at Epcot, which tended to run about a half hour-hour wait, easier with Fastpass. Weekends saw a bump in crowds and wait times increased, but it was still tolerable as far as crowd levels.
