Soarin': Good but not great. The real innovation of this attraction is the seating mechanism that not only seems to hang you over the screen, but does so three rows at at time. Otherwise, the wait times would be three times as long. I agree with others that, like many other attractions at WDW, it needs some updating and a little TLC. To me, it's worth doing, but not worth waiting an hour for.

I had doubts that it was overhyped before I rode it in 2010, but it actually exceeded my expectations and is one of my favorite rides.

When I was younger, I was all about thrill rides. I love Cedar Point's gigacoasters. I bungie jumped at 200 feet. I did a static-line parachute jump at 3,200 feet. In short, I was a thrill junkie and from that perspective, Soarin' comes up short.

But, I'm 52 now with two little kids. It doesn't take much to thrill me anymore. My DD9 got to ride that for the first time last year and she LOVED it. This year, she couldn't ride it enough. It's also a ride my DW can ride, as many rides make her nauseated. Therefore, I LOVE IT, TOO!!!! I just want to enjoy fun rides with my family. So I voted "Soarin'," but I completely understand if other think it falls short.

my dw and i have ridden it 16 times in one day and 32 over a short weekend trip.we made friends with some cast members and always go back to see them.it does need an upgrade and as far as feet in the view you can ask to be seated in row 1.just back from our trip but only rode it 3 times.
