    Smile Water park attire

    Hi

I'm going with my friends to Typhoon Lagoon for the first time this month. My friends mom is not comfortable in a bathing suit. Question is can she wear shorts and a t-shirt or something along that order and still enjoy the water? Will they say anything to her?

    Thanks.
    Mary

Been there, done that, definitely going back!

I've seen many people dressed like that. I wouldn't think it would be a problem.

Thanks, I know that she will feel better about knowing this is okay.

    From the recorded spiel:

"Swimwear with rivets, buckles, or exposed metal is not allowed on any of the attractions."

Whether this is enforced -- I don't know.

It's enforced....it is to prevent the equipment from getting scrathed or damaged....it shouldn't be hard to come up with an outfit that doesn't have any exposed metal.....Me, I just always wear my tuxedo, it's always acceptable.....

Maybe check into some "board shorts" and a sleeveless tee or cami. As long as it doesn't have anything to scratch or damage the slides she should be OK.

Men's swim trunks work nicely on ladies too. you could wear a tee shirt or a tank over a swim suit and I know that's not a problem (we were there last week). Just as long as neither has any metal sticking out you should be fine.

I second the board shorts. I only go to waterparks in board shorts. You can get them in different styles and sizes and are comfortable to walk around in wet. I would go for that and a dark tank top or tshirt.
