I Swear I'm not supposed to go on Vacation this year!!!!!!!!!!

2 weeks ago I had to take a trip to Texas because of a death in the Family. A week before I left, my MIL and SIL both ended up in the Hospital. Then 2 Days before I left I had to take my husband to the Emergancy Room because of a work Injury. Thank God it wasn't seriuos.

So here I go again, we leave tomorrow for Disney, and I woke up 2 days ago with my left knee killing me. I can barely walk. I have no idea what I am supposed to do now!!!!!!!!!! I've got a dr app. in an hour, hopefully they can give me something to help me!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't forget you can rent scooters or wheelchairs at WDW! I did this when I broke my ankle and it was just too exhausting to run around on crutches all day.

So i went to the Doctor today, and she said that I need to keep my leg Iced and Elevated! And I should stay off of it as much as possible? Got some Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Biotics. Not sure how I will react to them, since I had Gastric Bypass and ever since surgery I don't do real good with some Meds?
So $150 later, I will have a EVC waiting for me at the Resort when I get there. Man, that is the last thing that I wanted to do. I am panicing since I'll never be able to get this things on the Bus. My husband said he would do it for me if I need him to.

I know what you mean about the meds. My boss had GB surgery and she has a hard time with meds.

It sounds like you really need a vacation. I hope the ECV works out well for you. Bring plastic baggies and you can fill them from the ice machine at night. Don't push yourself too hard. No pun intended. Let us know how your trip was when you get back.

Well, I'm Back!!!!!!

Everything went pretty good with my Knee. I did end up renting a Scooter before we left, so it was waiting when we arrived. It definatly helped!!!!! The last day, I ended up walking the entire day, which I didn't have any trouble. It was VERY HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! And with a few dissapointments with Character Breakfast and Resort, we did have a good trip!!!!!!!
