What Day do you usually arrive?

What day of the week does your vacation usually begin on?

Our next trip is Wed to Wed.

Our plane arrives at 3pm.
Wondering how busy ME is at that time of day and week and how busy check in will be on a Wed. afternoon at AKL?

We will arriving on Dec.3rd.
This is the first trip we are starting midweek.

we usually get there on sunday and leave on saturday - we're on the 6 day vacation plan

Our last several trips have had Wed or Thur as our arrival days.DME and check in times were very slight.

We've arrived on several different days, but the most frequent is Saturday. Our next trip in August, we arrive on Saturday and leave on the following Sunday.

I picked Sunday only because it is the day for this trip. But my DH schedule plays a very important roll in what day we choose. He schedule rotates, so who knows what day it will be next time, I think it's a Monday, though.

We normally try to make it a mid-week to mid-week trip, with one weekend included. This allows DW to not break up her pay periods too badly - as a nurse she works 'weekend option' and doesn't get vacation time, so she loses pay on our vacations. Her pay weeks start on Sunday and her pay periods are two weeks at a time. Makes for some interesting scheduling hassles.

Mondays just work best for us. We drive down from New England, and it gives us the weekend to get down to FL.

It used to be a Saturday to Saturday but the airline we use now fly to florida on Sundays now
which in a way is better

The last two trips and our next trip in Oct we start on a Thursday and end 10 days later on a Sunday.

Our trips vary from time to time. This trip actually starts on a Monday, but our vacation technically starts at WDW on Tuesday through the following Thursday.

We arrive MCO on Monday night late - staying at Hyatt Orlando Airport.
Taking ME early Tuesday morning and checking in at the Poly. Staying on property until Sunday when we board the Disney Wonder for 4 nights.
Then it's back to MCO on Thursday afternoon for our flight home.

We normally do Saturday to Saturday but due to weekend rates and airline fares will be doing Tuesday - Friday on our 10 day trip.

we come friday morning to avoid crunch at airport and get better opportunity for a good view in our room.

for us with my odd work schedule its usually a monday arrival if we're doing a regular trip...or whatever day of the week December 30th turns out to be if we going down for new years.

We like to go Sunday - Sunday.

I just got a call yesterday from my travel agent that Midwest airlines had canceled all our flights in and out of K.C.. The planes were even completely booked.
She was able to rebook us on AirTran. I don't know anything about that airline, but it ends up $500 cheaper than our Midwest flights had been and we get to say until 7:00 pm on our last day instead of catching a 10:00 am flight which we originally had. So I guess it has worked out okay for us.
Does anyone know anything about AirTran? Are they like Southwest?

We take the first flight out on Saturday morning and stay until the followind Sunday.

Last trip we left on a Friday after work and drove most of the night arriving on Saturday - plan to do the same next month. On our first trip though we left Saturday morning very early and drove all day - still arriving on Saturday.
