    Default $25 extra for the 2nd bag on delta both ways?

    SO is this for both ways? Or is it everytime you load the plane? What about the connecting flight do we have to pay extra too? Anyone experienced this??

    The $25 is each direction per person, regardless of the number of connections.

    So I have a connecting flight to atlanta (that i did not plan) so that is boarding a plane 4 times so it will cost $100 for one extra bag????

    No, the way I understand it is your flight is from A to B (say Indianapolis to Orlando). If you have to connect at C to get to B, it's still part of the A to B and you pay the $25 once. You'll of course pay the $25 when you go home from B to A, even if you have to go through C again. Does that help?

    oh ok well thats not too bad. It still stinks to think $50 for something that used to be free!!
