Character Meet in Epcot?

I saw a Samantha Brown travel special where she was talking about a character meet in Epcot. She said that it is usually full of adults because not many people know about it. Anyone know where it is located? On the show it showed mostly adults in line so that would be great if we could find it. It had Mickey, Goofy, and a few others.

I saw the same show and I think I saw the area when we were there in February this year. It had about 3 characters when we walked by and people were lined up for autographs and pics. It was located in one of the Innovations buildings (don't ask which; I always get lost in Epcot and do good seperating Future World from World Showcase! ) bit if I'm remembering correctly you can see it through a window when you walk between the buildings and I think it is close to the Coke sampling area. We didn't go in but the lines didn't look too bad. Not non-existant but not bad compared to MK.

It should be Innoventions East. There is a character spot there with usually 4 or 5 different guys. And considering the wait is usually abut 45 minutes, that's not too terrible considering you con get at least Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and usually Chip and Dale. Sometimes I've seen Pluto and Donald there, but the others seem to be more common.

We saw Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale, and Minnie... I think in that order.

Maybe it was filmed last spring before the character connection refurb, before it was character spot and had those big windows that guests could see a mile away. When it was hidden away on the other side of innoventions no one knew where it was and there were never any lines, now it's pretty packed usually since guests see it on their way to Soaring.

I too remember when there was a character greeting hidden away behind Innoventions, and to be honest I kind of wish they would have kept it there. It was a more hidden spot and less crowded for people to see the characters. Now with the windows everyone sees them and it is packed . . . it is kind of like the secret is out. Anyway when I was at EPCOT last Sunday, I believe Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto were there. My question is, where is the character meet n' greet that supposedly only Disney Visa Reward members can only go to??? I thought it was this meet n' greet at Innoventions, but obviously it isn't because it seems to be open to the public.

So this is different from the Visa cardholders meet 'n greet?

Is it pretty much just the Fab Five? We'll be seeing them at Chef Mickey's and Cape May Cafe, so it might not be worth standing in line to see them. Although, it's hard for me to pass up any character interaction, even if it's a character I've seen 5 times during the current trip.

We went there in June. We happened to get in line right as it opened and had practically no wait. It is called the Epcot Character Spot. If I remember correctly, it was to the right of the big fountain just as you get into the park. We saw Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Chip and Dale, Minnie, and Goofy. My 3 year old loved and and we did to!! It is definitely worth a visit.

i was at epcot on 7/21 and chip and dale were not at the character spot at epcot, but stitch was there instead.
