    Default Emperor's New Groove Ride???

I've always felt that the Emperor's New Groove was an underappreciated Disney movie. It is fantastic, and hilarious, rivaling many fantastic adult comedy movies. I think its about time that Disney added in something Emperor's New Groove theme... it could be anything!!!

I've wanted to see a ride just like the one Yzma and Kronk ride to get to their secret lab.... I think that would be awesome. Maybe it could be something like the new Crush coaster at Disney Studios Paris... where it is a dark ride that turns into a rollercoaster. That would rock....

I agree that TENG is an underappreciated movie and would love to see an attraction based on it! Don't have any great ideas but am curious to see what others come up with.

Interesting thought but not every movie needs a ride. Thought I do see how it would be done assuming they could pull it off. A coaster style ride to Ezma's "seceret" lab.

Agreed, that scene would've made a great basis for a ride. If nothing else, a small roller coaster in the same sense/style as Goofy's barnstormer. They could've built a castle styled like the one in the movie and you would enter on the 2nd or 3rd level, then exit at ground level. It would've been lots of fun.

I know!! The movie is riddled with ride concepts... from the secret lab (WRONG LEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!), to the whirlpool coming out of the nose, to the raging river/waterfall....

I would love to see a Splash Mountain-ish ride where riders go through scenes in the movie, then make their final plunge out through the nose of the statue.... it could make a great photo spot!! Or maybe just an Yzma's Secret Lab coaster... that would still rock. Any other ideas?

    All I can say is...

    BRING IT ON

ENG is one of my favorites. I don't know WHY there's not more disney stuff about it.

(oddly enough when things start going bad one thing after another...I always think of that part where Kuzco says. "Let me guess...waterfall...YEP...Sharp rocks at the bottom...YEP...Bring it on!

    Water ride...roller coaster...virtual coaster...all would be perfect.

I know, right? I've always though ENG was one of the most perfect movies for a ride... you can definitely get enough ideas from the movie.

I agree it would be a pretty good idea.

On the other hand given this subject it would have to get behind the ride based on THE RESCUERS!!!!

I think a small coaster in DHS would be great. I would say around the back of the park near muppets if ther is room?

But what ever they chose, It will be Groovee!!

That movie is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen! I love it! My favorite part is when Yzma turns into a cat "do I really sound like that?" and when Kronk makes his dinner and wants to serve coffee!
I can picture this turning into a ride like Figment, a dark ride going through a lab.

I agree... the areas I can imagine it in are:

-DHS near the back... isn't there tons of room?
-AK- maybe it could headline a new Centra/South American area of the park?
-Epcot- Maybe a new ride in the Mexico pavilion?

I can't really see it being added to MK, as Adventureland is already majorly overcrowded.

Well it definitely wouldn't go in Mexico in Epcot... TENG is Peruvian, not Mexican. Could easily be the main attraction if they added Peru to World Showcase. I think it would make a fun dark ride, but there are alot more popular animated features that would come before it as a dark ride (my bet is 101 Dalmations).
I like the idea of adding South America to AK and having it be a ride there... AK needs more stuff and South America would give them all sorts of new animals and cultures to play with, ones that aren't tapped by any of the existing locations.

I agree... I think AK would be the perfect place... maybe as something to even out the skyline on the left side of the park, with the palace on the left, the Tree of Life in the center, and Everest on the right.

The movie is very under rated... But, I don't think it is worthy of a ride... So, I don't see this happening...

have always felt the same way about the movie and a possible ride, perhaps in Fantasyland where 2000 Leagues used to be.Id like a combination of coaster and water ride:KuzTopia!

I love these ideas combined. A Kuztopia in AK would be perfect. A secret lab roller coaster always seamed like an attraction that was begging to be built...and they're closing the Pocahontas show although I don't know if that would free up enough room.
I also think there would have to be a llama/alpaca petting attraction attached!
