Rough and tumble day as "they" decided we should move offices the last week of fiscal year. Are all of upper management idiots or just most of them?
I will do my best to get trip reports up soon gang. And Sarah, I do have a report on 1900 Park Faire dinner for you. I will pm as soon as I can. Be patient with me?
Just a zoop, I'm too tired for more than that. G'night JQU teachers and students, sleep well.

Letterman's been having a grinding act girl here and there for quite a while, so I didn't see it as being that original. Some other stupendous acts though. You don't like to be winked at?

I'm not EVEN going to try to catch up. I just got home from a 12 hour day, so not much brain power left.
I haven't had anything to eat yet - anyone have any leftovers from dinner?

No - I have LAN access, email and internet, but lost access to numerous critical systems I need. It will be the end of the week before I get it all back....
How did you know I have grilled chicken in the fridge? Where'd ya hide the camera? Did you see the pineapple that goes with it, too?

and each of us had a huge smile on our face.
We tucked the kids all snug in their beds
while visions of Nemo swam through their heads.
We went to our own room and turned out the light
but I knew there was no way I’d sleep through the night.
ADRs kept running through my stressed mind
Did I make them all? Did I get the best times?
The anticipation made me giddy and gay
only 10 more hours and we’d be on our way.
I closed my eyes and tried hard to sleep
looking forward to another INTERCOT meet.
The alarm clock rang loudly at 6 in the morning
and the T.V. news said there were blizzard warnings.
So with the fear that our flight would be delayed
we made our way to the airport and silently prayed.
We got boarding passes and went to check in
flight 100 now boarding, let the vacation begin.
We touched down in Orlando just before one
first day of vacation in the land of the sun.
We found DME and boarded the bus
Jeanne was our driver, what wonderful luck!
Port Orleans was such a beautiful sight
I could hardly believe we would be there 9 nights.
After checking in we boarded a boat
off to downtown Disney for a root beer float.
Cast members worked both day and night
to make sure that every dream took flight.
The next several days were filled with such magic,
I could see our last day would seem no less than tragic.
The middle of the trip brought a great surprise
from the castle suite we got to watch the sun rise.
But the greatest joy came near the end
when we got to meet some of our INTERCOT friends.
Some that I’ve talked to forever it seems
and other fresh faces who were new to the scene.
Bright beaming smiles and welcoming faces
wonderful people in the most magical of places.
We all watched the parade then had a quick snack
and made a vow that we all would come back.
The last night of our trip found us packing our bags
with souvenirs, trinkets, even new luggage tags.
Of course the trip and the story must come to an end
but we had incredible magic and met wonderful friends.

Traci, that was awesome!! I'm going to print it out tomorrow and keep it for our scrapbook... thanks for sharing it with us!!
Well, I'm home for the night... seems my tummy was a bit off, too, so I thought it best to head home for some sleep. Dan said Emma didn't have a fever before bed, but it was only 4hrs post medicine, so we'll see....
I have some sad news about our Calvin... seems we may have to put him to sleep sooner than I'd thought. He's our 14yr old big cat, and he's been having a rough time of it lately. He's diabetic and although that seems reasonably under control, he's been losing the strength in his hips and has been struggling with stairs and sometimes walking in general. He's had a few accidents in the basement of the "#2" variety (sorry if TMI... ) but we've handled it and said if it become more frequent, or if he stopped using the litter box altogether, we'd make the call. Well, it seems that the last few days have headed in that direction, so I'm going to call our vet tomorrow and see. It makes me so sad... he's been with us since just before we got married, and if you guys remember, we had to put his "brother" down a year and a half ago. He's just always been there, and even though it's been tough sledding with him lately, I can't imagine not having him around. He's talkative and funny and still our big baby, so it's very sad. We'll see what the vet says tomorrow...
Okay, off to bed for me... I'll try to catch up with everyone tomorrow!!

I can't get enough writing. A few years ago I wrote and illustrated a Christmas book for my children, this last Christmas I printed 2 copies out on nice paper, laminated the pages, had them spiral bound with a dedication to each of them in the front and gave them to them for Christmas. Sending some back to you for your DS... I hope he's feeling better in the morning!
it with us!!
Pluto is sooooo sweet, he's such a love. I had been in contact with the breeder and when he was born we got to see all the puppies at 2 weeks. So tiny! The breeder was great! She knew we wanted a yellow male. There were 2 yellow males in the litter. There were also a few chocolate and a black. I didn't know that all 3 colors could come from the same litter, but thats beside the point. The breeder told me she would try to judge the temprament of the 2 male yellows and give us the one she thought best for a family with small kids. She did a really good job! For awhile he thought Ryan, the baby, was a puppy! It was soooo cute! He's very smart and learns pretty quickly. But, he's like a kid and likes to test his limits from time to time and he has lots of energy! I'll take some up-to-date pictures of him and post them later!
Thanks for the pixie dust! I think we could use all we can get. Johnny is still very sick and now Ryan is sick! Johnny's fever was over 104 last night!
Lots more for Emma and also you! Feel better!
I'm so sorry about Calvin, it terrible when a pet gets sick. Lots of for him!
So what's on everyone schedule for today? I have about 5 million things to do today and all of them are getting out on the back burner because of the sick kiddos! Oh well, what are ya gonna do? I just hate to see my kids sick! My poor babies! I'd take their sickness in a heartbeat to make them all better!

Good morning, gang!! I'm up and raring to go, having been "given" a day back out of my schedule since I came home last night!!
Unfort., Emma still had a 101.5 fever this morning, so she's home w/ me... doesn't seem to be feeling too badly, but with that fever, I just couldn't send her. I called the school nurse and whatever she's got, it seems to be going around, so the next call is to the pediatrician to see if she might need antibiotics... I don't want to figure out she needs them tomorrow night before we go away!!

What a coincidence, that's what we're going to name our son.

That is so cool!! What a great idea!!

If you're a parent, you'll probably take their sickness anyway. DW got a bug off of one of our grandchildren from two weeks ago and wound up with pneumonia.

Sage advice indeed.
Blythe, I always hate it when that decision has to be made. Here's some for you and Calvin.
Hard to believe it's already been a week since I had my eye done. So far so good though. I can lift a whole ten pounds at a time this week.
Did anybody besides Pogo and me watch America's Got Talent last night?
