Here's the latest and greatest re: a Grand Gathering "number" for our CP reservation...

Actually, if you have a large group, they just need to make reservations with group dining. Putting Grand Gatherings on your reservations could hamper the chances for a discount down the road as that department has notoriously long wait times on code days......I believe Wendy even said she would book any group dining plans....

This is a note from our TA at MJ re: "linking" my and Deb's reservations so we have the magical "8" number to get a GG number.

So - I know that at least we are hoping for a discount when they come out in August, and I'd prefer not to cut my chances on MJ being able to get through for us... anyone else?

Do we think we can just make a large ADR, or do it like Ellen had suggested - everyone make an ADR for a group larger than what they're travelling with? Then we can group ourselves together as we arrive?

Totally not sure how to handle this, as it seems according to MJ that we only need a GG number for the actual "GG" type events?

Anyway... just wanted to let you all know the response I was getting so I can let Deb at MJ know what to follow through on.

So after all this talk about GG and Group Dining, etc, whats the bottom line? It seems if we are allowed to make one ADR, that would be better, so we can be sure to sit together.
But before our ADR dates get here, I think we all need to know if we are individually making ADRs for these events, or not.

A group the size of yours will make their reservations through Group Dining...just call 407 939 7707 and they can help you. You will need the number of people in your party, a window of time, date,etc. Disney will assist you from there. You will have several tables with a party of your size, but hopefully together.

As posted above, if someone would like to email me your dining needs I am happy to call for you!

With the number of people in your party and the places you are thinking about for dining, the sooner you do it, the better.
