    Default Last Minute Trip

Looks like we will be returning to WDW...a little sooner than expected. We had planned to go in September, but a job opportunity for my wife is changing that. We now will return in only 3 weeks.

We wanted to still use our airline tickets we already purchased. They were even cheaper now...$170 round trip, including fees, via Delta from Jackson, MS to Orlando. We will drive 3 hours to take advantage of this.

Lots of planning to do and reservations to make. We will arrive on May 8th and return home on May 13th. I believe the crowds will be moderate and bearable.

Good job with the weather updates Stormchaser. I miss doing them when we started that a couple of years back.

    Later...Patrick in Shreveport, LA

Early May is usually when we visit & we've always had great weather! We just got back, ours too was a very last minute trip. I had one week to plan from when we decided & made our ressies! I was a loon & now I can't believe our trip has already come & gone.

We've always flown in the past, but this was too last minute & it would have cost us a fortune. We drove & it was ok, but to me, flying is the way to go. It's just that much less time spent traveling & more time to enjoy everything Disney!

I hope you have a magical trip!
    Shari
