I came home after gig number 3 in 3 days and decided on the off-chance to log into VFK for a few to see if I could find anyone;
I found Dino (but he was invisible, so I could send or recieve a friend request.)
Found Genie (currently on my list... until that disappears!)
Found Figgie (also the same as with Genie!)
Found ElectroStitch (Ditto again!)
Found Pirate (but the cursed Invisibility made it difficult again.)
I'm gonna nap for a while... then come back on tonight and hunt for some more of "the family"! Be on the look-out.... I'm guessing the western room #2 is good?

I was able to see you and sent you a request. Usually you get a request after you log back in a couple times so watch out for my request I did send you one so your on my list only Pending.

Like I said. I hope I got all of you on this list send when I log on to VFK and look at my friend list all I see is emtpy. I really hope they fix it. I even try to see if I can see it on my dad's CP and it still dose it. I may have Hockey on my list three times and Ice twice

I think this is an issue for everybody right now. It is very touchy. The friends list comes and goes. The problem is they have too much to work on right and should STOP adding things until they get these problems taken care of. But don't worry Genie you are not the only one with this problem and even though the friends list does go out when it comes back you haven't lost your friends and wont have to add them again. You are also not alone with having people on your list multiple times. I believe I have Hockey and Nachocat on my list twice and I'm sure there are a few others that have this same problem.

Right now if I could give advice to VFK don't add anything else until you have the current problems fixed. They have chat and seeing people, friends lists, and the report feature. These are all the basic things that are important. Before they add anything else they need to make sure they have these working properly.

A note from the developers:

Our beta test is going better than we hoped, and we want to thank everyone yet again for all your help.

This afternoon we exceeded 8,000 online again, and this is very exciting!

To support all of our beta testers, we are doing a server upgrade. We will be offline while we do this, however, as soon as we are back up we should be able to support many more than 8,000 at one time.

In addition, this will allow us to load the rest of the character names which have been approved, so everyone will know each other! Also, you will be able to finally change your clothes and get a new hair style, so that you can meet your friends in a fresh outfit!

Cross your fingers that the upgrade goes smoothly, and wish us good luck.

If all things go smoothly we will be back up in a couple of hours. If not, it may take us the rest of the evening. In any case, we will all be here until the system is back up.
