VMK on ICOT?

I hate to ask this, but what is going to happen to this place right here?...I have a feeling it won't last...but I was thinking...that's a dangerous thing...Would anybody be interested in joinging a Yahoo group? I know there is still ICOT, but I will miss our little family right here so much. I glove...love reading about what is going on in all of our lives. I don't want that part to end. What do you all think?

We have made no decisions concerning VMK at Icot. I was away when the announcement was made and only found out yesterday.

Jp and I are trying to connect in real time. We also need to bring John into it, to make a final decision.

The VMK Guide and VMK events sections will likely close with VMK. Myself or JP will let you know what will happen to the "Inside Out Box" when it has been decided. It is our plan to make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone.

Well I'll be sad to see the sections go but I do understand since VMK isn't around can't have the section.

However might I suggest having a Disney Online Game section instead? I know a lot of the other boards have a section for it thought that would be a good way for us all to stay in touch. Just a suggestion

John, Jeff and I will be discussing the forum over the next few days. It's difficult to get us all together in real time.

Alot of us tried out Club Penguin tonight and it is a mini VMK. Yes, you can't do much unless you pay for it, but at least its something.

Unfortunately it is a busy time for me with the last marking period at school starting, teacher ovservations coming up, the hockey playoffs(although the way my team looked last night that should be short )

But I can tell you this much that is a garauntee if there is one thing we understand here at Intercot it's community and and a sense of belonging so we will do all in our power to keep our community together.

I hope this area stays around... I know I haven't been around much at all.. I think getting married does that.. and other things too.

Anyways, I want to say to all the friends I met on VMK from intercot, it was a great run there.. I will miss being the pretty princess or dressing up in all purple.I will miss the times we had hanging out in each others room and such.

I just came back from WDW and was reminded of VMK when I was on the TTA (WedWay for me)... and I heard Mr. Tom Morrow being paged... Hi Tom!

I think a section for Disney Online games would be a good idea. This VMK section anymore is the only place I post on intercot anymore, since I only go to WDW maybe once every 5 or 6 years. With us all jumping on Club Penguin last night, we went over as our usual Intercot bunch. Also with Cars and Fairies online game coming, it only makes sense. I think it would be awful if this community gets split up. It would be as bad as us losing VMK.

We have a big Pirates Online community, but never really discussed much here after the start of Live version since this was a VMK site and felt we didn't want to overtake the VMK section.

Hopefully our little VMK sub-community here on Intercot does not die off along with VMK. Maybe you can keep the Inside Out of the Box section and another forum dedicated to discussing other Disney online games such as Pirates, Club Penguin, etc.

All you VMK people should also try venturing out of the VMK side of Intercot and checking out the other forums. They're great, promise

I can't let the cat out of the bag just yet but I will say the wheels are turning here at Intercot so everyone relax and take a deep breath. We truly value our members and realize just how much we all mean to each other since we are part of the community. In my eyes VMK was a real time extension of Intercot.

Yep, there are! I was on Intercot long before VMK. In fact, I stumbled across VMK by scrolling down past the forums I usually read...found the VMK section and got curious as to what in the world is a 'VMK!'
...and that was the beginning of the end...oops...poor choice of word...

If your feeling adventurous.. check out INTERCOT's Water Cooler and Games forums. There are many wonderful people in our ICot Community playing games, needing your good vibes, swapping recipes or simply sharing a funny story.. who could forget this funny thread?

I've been on Intercot close to seven years, when they re-did the site and merged I-West and Intercot, i lost all of my posts (and there were alot!) Mostly i post in the Disneyland section, sometimes the WDW section. I know i haven't posted much on the VMK section but i wish i had, then i would have met some of you sooner then i did! Even though i'm new to you guys, i'd still like to remain a part of this wonderful group! You are all so nice and just really lovely people.
