Acquatica!

I know it opened recently, has anyone been there yet? It looks amazing, and it may curb my desires to go to Atlantis!

I am wondering also if anyone has been to Acquatica since it opened in Apr? We are thinking of maybe going in May, but don't feel like spending a small fortune for one day, if it isn't anything much. We have the waterpark option on our Disney Passes so will be going to those waterparks also.

Aquatica is Sea World's new water park. It looks like a lot of fun! It just opened in March.

my sister just got back last week and they said for the price it is not worth it. they only spent half a day there and thought it was really overhyped. the disney water parks are sooo much better they said. they are a family of four. i hope this helps.

We just went 1 week ago and loved it. It was really great. For the price it is a great bargin. They have a ton of stuff for all ages. Our favorite was the "river rapids". Get a life vest and float around a course. It is a blast. I would recommend a child of 3 or 4 to go in though as it does move a bit fast in areas. Keep your party together too, it is easy to get seperated on this. We spent a full day with our kids 13,10,7,4. Food is reasonable,locker rental is available, restrooms are clean and well maintained. The slides are great and the wave pool is a blast. I would suggest getting in when they open since it is full by 11:30am. The only part we didn't care for was the big play area where you can slide, spray water and run under the dumping bucket. The reason we didn't care for it was: Parents let their older kids here without supervision and they spray you in the face, push smaller kids out of the way and were overall just misbehaved. The sprayers are hard sprayers and getting one in the face or in the ear was not pleasent. I hope you enjoy you trip

We had friends just return from here and they LOVED it. They had a blast and plan to go back. They have two small ones (DS7 & DD 4) and they were never bored. They too talked alot about the "lazy river". They said it moved pretty fast. They showed me pictures and it looked like fun. I asked how it compared to Disney and they said it was in the same ball game.
