    Default safari ride still closed?

Does anyone know if the safari ride is still closed after the fire?

KS reopened the next day. Once the affected vehicle was repaired and the rest of the fleet inspected, they got the OK to resume safaris.

Interesting... We lucked out in that we were on the Safari at about 2 pm that same afternoon (Feb. 10th) with our fast passes.
Had a GREAT front row view--seeing the exact same thing the driver was seeing as he was calling out the animals.
I feel badly for those who missed out of a Safari a short time later!

Glad to hear KS reopened so quickly. It's such a popular ride, and definitely one of my all-time favorites at the parks!
I don't like formal gardens. I like wild nature. It's just the wilderness instinct in me, I guess.

There is more treasure in books than in all the pirates' loot on Treasure Island and at the bottom of the Spanish Main.

What do you do if your near the rinos, crocks, hippos or some other dangerous animals if this happens.Where do you run to. Id be a little nervous if I had to get out and run.

As is my understanding, only the animals that are herbivores are actually "free-roaming" (in a very loose sense, they're still confined to their own range area). All the "dangerous" animals are actually separated from the guests by very well-hidden fences and other methods, so obviously if you had to get out I think you'd be just fine.
