diabetic diet at the world

hi! DH and I just got back 1/28 from visiting the World. of course, it was a blast.

this was my first time back after being diagnosed with severe insulin resistance. i take medication and follow a diabetic's diet.

i just wanted to forward along that the Hollywood Brown Derby was EXCELLENT in meeting my needs. the chef came out for a chat to discuss options (even though i really didn't need him too!) and also told me that their fresh berries and mango ice desert was made with fructose rather than the "bad" sugar.

I'm so glad you had a good experience. With diabetic DS7 Disney also went out of their way to find things he could eat. It's good to know this illness doesn't have to stop you from having good meals at WDW.
