Default Mexico or Prague for a week in February?

DH and I are deciding between Cabo and Prague for a trip in late February. It'll be my first trip ever outside of the US...or off the East Coast for that matter. I really wanted to go to Europe but it is so expensive now...Prague is not AS pricey as England and Germany, my original choices. I wanted to sightsee, especially see little old towns and things like that. Question is...is Prague a place that you'd stay at for a whole week?

Mexico is a draw as well though, because of the time of year. DH and I are NOT partiers, and neither of us can swim very well...but I'm sure there are other things we can do, right? Maybe snorkeling and parasailing...I don't think you have to be good swimmers for those. Again..is this a whole week kind of trip?

    So...we are torn. Advice? Suggestions?

I would choose Prague, especially after seeing some Travel Channel specials on it. There looked to be plenty to keep you busy for a week, but I wouldn't know for sure. I've never been to either place. Maybe invest in a travel book for each destination, or see what you can online? Best wishes with the choice and have a great vacation.

I've been to Prague and there's plenty to do...although i think it'll be a bit cold there...so if you plan to want to walk around and tour little towns (there is a couple of places to reserve tours and you catch the bus right downtown)...they have trolley cars, and subways...however, when by myself at night, I'd use the overground transporation (trolley's or bus')...people tend to take their dogs on all types of transportation there too...interesting. Mexico would be nicer if you want warmer weather...I've never been...if I want warm weather, I go to Disney.
Have a great trip...We're thinking Germany this year...time will tell.

If you are not party people or beach people you may get bored in Mexico. IMO not enough sightseeing to do there for a whole week.
