December Trip 4-11 Day 2 -- MK

Day 2 – Wednesday -- Magic Kingdom

This day would pretty much set the tempo for the rest of the trip. We got up after sleeping in, had breakfast at the Pepper Grill (kind of expensive for a food court atmosphere, in my opinion, but the food was good anyway) and got our mugs, then dropped them off at our room and hopped on the bus. It’s exciting to be back here again. After meeting with the others in Fantasyland, we headed over to ride POTC, and then to ride Splash Mountain. We then headed over and watched Mickey’s Philharmagic—still the great show that it is! Then, the kids rode Cinderella Carousel and Dumbo. We then went and ate at Liberty Tree Tavern, getting some great character pictures in the process. After that, I took my Mom back to the resort, as she was tired, then headed back to meet up with the rest. This was the first time I had seen Spectromagic, and I was floored by how cool this parade was. The most surprising float was the one with Chernabog on it. I never expected him to be in this parade. It’s amazing to see in person, and I love the music (there’s hardly any Disney parade music I don’t like). After the parade finishes, we duck into Tomorrowland for a quick ride on Space Mountain—still a great ride!
