Castaway Cay
When we went on our cruise, we got two days at the island because of some bad weather. So we missed our day at sea, but I think it was worth it. Either way, you will have plenty to do.
Have fun!

Depending on what time of year you are going.
If you are going during the Winter months, there are cool days at Castaway. We were there in FEB last year, we could swim, but it was cool.
I don't know where they go for that day at sea, but if it is further south, you may get some warmer weather.
Past that, do you like the Sand? Or the boat? Thats your only other choice. Castaway is a NICE place.
It's a great big beautiful tommorrow!

That's a really tough choice. Having the sea day, it forces you to do nothing but relax. You don't feel like you should be doing something, just because you're in a port. Just floating along and being surrounded by water is a pretty nice way to spend the day. On the flip side, the ship feels very crowded on sea days. We found it difficult to get 2 lounge chairs in the middle of the day.

Go for the additional day on Castaway Cay. We've been on 5 Disney cruises and I've always wished we had an extra day on the island to do more, like one day snorkeling with the family and another day relaxing on the adult beach. We're finally gonna get that chance this December, so after that I'll really be able to tell you which is better.

Definitely the two days at Castaway!!! We were lucky to get two days at Castaway on our 7 day Thanksgiving cruise and really enjoyed it. The island is just beautiful and you can just relax and swim in the water if you want. It was actually warmer at Castaway than on the ship when we were there.

Your day at CC is MUCH too short on the cruises, so two days there makes it so much better!
We LOVE days at sea, but it does seem to feel crowded, but there are things to all day, which is why we loved them so much!
We are doing the double dip this summer, so its obvious that not having a day at sea won't bother us!
