Art of Disney statues

I love the Jessica Rabbit Statue and would love to get it this trip. But living in Canada the shipping cost is over $100!! Is there a way I could send it to a post office in Buffalo and then pick it up there? We are flying out of BUF and driving home from there. Any other ideas?

I do not think you can ship to a place unless you have a street address. They cannot ship items to PO Boxes and I am not sure if the Buffalo PO would receive a package for a non resident of that area. Do you have anyones home in Buffalo that you could send it to??? The other option is to call Disney Merchandising when you get home and see how much they would charge to ship it to Canada.

Yeah I figured they probably wouldn't receive pkgs there. No we don't know anyone in Buffalo and the merchandising route is how I found out that it would over $100 to ship it to Canada. The people at the Art of Disney confirmed the same thing on my last trip.

You can ask to take it with you and try to fit it into your luggage. That's what I have to do so they don't ship it literally, 5 minutes down the road for $35.

I would check the UPS website and see what it actually costs to ship via ground.
If it is cheaper, you could go to the UPS Store in the Premium Outlets and ship it to yourself. Their rate will be somewhat higher than the actual UPS rate because they have to mark it up some.
Another option, assuming you have a car, would be to take it to the UPS terminal on Orange Blossum Trail and ship it to yourself. They would only charge you the actual costs plus any duites/taxes that may be due in Canada.
