Default Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach

Any recommendations on which water park we should choose first? My DS is 9 and doesn't want to do Summit Plummit. Is there still enough for him to do at BB?

I think BB actually has better slides and more to do for a 9 year old. BB is better designed for kids under ten than Typhoon Lagoon, in my opinion. They have great things for kids, and a slightly tamer wave pool. We've done both. We thought we would prefer Typhoon Lagoon, but it turns out we all had lots more family fun at BB.

Default Don't want to think about snow when we're in Florida

    Hi,

We always prefer Typhoon Lagoon because we like a funner wave pool, and don't like the ski resort theme at BB.

    Oh well.
I'm especially good at expectorating. Ptooo!

I perfer Typhoon Lagoon. I love its theme and think it has great slides. Actually I think the lazy river is my favorite thing to do at TL. If your son doesn't want to do Summit Plummet maybe he'll enjoy Crush 'n' Gusher it a fun water slide that goes up and down and there are three different slides in this one attraction. Also if your son is into fish he can go through shark reef and look at all the neat fish. The wave pool is also fun although it can toss you around quite a bit. Whichever park you choose you'll have fun because both waterparks are pretty cool. Have fun!!!

BB is great fun for all ages. We love the slides and the lazy river. No one says he has to do SP. He can skip it. When you get to the top of the chair lift, you can also walk to the family raft ride.

TL is also fun for all. We love crush and gusher, the wave pool and the lazy river. But the shark reef is also great.

Whichever park you choose, your child will have a lot of fun!! Just please remember the sun block. Oh, and we bought a waterproof dispoable camera and took it everywhere with us. It has a small strap that I wrapped around my bathing suit strap. It was really great fun!!

Thanks. Sounds like we'll have fun no matter which one we do. Guess I'll let the 9 year old pick the water park.
