Default A Hidden Gem At Epcot!!!

Just returned and found a little hidden gem at Epcot. In the same building as Character Connection, right by Club Cool, is a special exhibit on Epcot with old Imagineering models and concept work. There are images of Kitchen Cabaret (spelling?) and Figment w/ the Dreamfinder, and they play classic music in the background like "veggie veggie fruit fruit". It was a cool little find and brought back great memories!

Yeah, this "hidden gem" was opened on the 25th anniversary of Epcot back on Oct. 1st. I'm hoping it has an extended stay. There's nothing else slated for that space.

It sure is out of the way. we had this place to our own for over 10 minutes even when the Character photos were really busy.

I sure do like seeing all the old stuff.

That's awesome. My dad still sings Veggie, Veggie, Fruit, Fruit all the time. Oh the memories.

Oh, how fun! I loved Kitchen Cabaret as a kid. Too bad it's gone, my kids would love it for sure.

We found it by accident last week too. We were just cutting through because it was cool and the wind was blowing the water from the fountain everywhere. It was nice to see the displays.

Is it listed on the park map? Anyone know? If not, what a shame.

As soon as I got home from work last night, my dad was putting dinner on the table, and while he was putting out the veggies, what did he start singing? Veggie Veggie, Fruit, Fruit. I told him about this little gem, and he's all excited. He really wishes they bring the full attraction back. He could probably watch it 100 times and never get board with it.

That sounds like such a great exhibit! I read on another site that it was planned to only run through the end of the year, but I hope they extend that because I would love to see it in February!

They should leave the exhibit there for at least a few years since that area isn't used for anything else. My wife and I would really like to see it when we go in September of next year. Thanks for the information!

    Default Nice find...

I hope it stays open til I get there sometime in August. Kitchen Cabaret was one of my favorite attractions in all of WDW as a child.

I would love to see this. We went in September so I guess we missed it. One more reason to go back in '08!

I wish I had known about the displays last week!

I just got back from WDW and had no idea that there were displays by Club Cool...

    Thanks for the tip!

I'll be there in less than a week, and I'll check and see if it's still open.
