    Default MNSSHP schedule

This is the first time I'm going to MNSSHP, and I'm starting to feel overwhelmed about not enough time to see and do everything. So it would be great help if you guys can let me know what are some must dos...obviously the parade and fireworks are a must.

If you aren't already in the park, you can enter on your MNSSHP ticket around 4:00 or 4:30 p.m. There's usually a CM with wristbands when you enter; otherwise there will be stations around the park beginning around 5:00 p.m.

The programme/park map may not be available until closer to the party start time, but pick one up as soon as possible.

There are scheduled shows, plus the parades and fireworks. Just decide what you want to do and when you want to do it. You'll still have time for an attraction or two if choose.

The first parade goes off at 8:15, the second at 10:30. Hallowishes goes off at 9:30. The Headless Horseman walks about 10-15 minutes before the parade.

I would recommend going to do trick-or treating and character stuff first. I wouldn't worry about rides too much unless you really aren't spending another day at MK.

See Hallowishes from Main Street. Then watch the parade. I believe this is better because for some unknown logical reasoning....everyone leaves after the fireworks. Plus there is a difference in the timing....1:15 hr between the first parade and the fireworks, as opposed to 1 hr between fireworks and parade 2. Plus, you can still go trick-or-treating afterwards!

Edit: Jessica cannot do math, therefore calculated the differences in times wrong and corrected it.

Absolutely do not miss the parade or fireworks! They are fantastic! The trick-or-treating is really cool, we always do it! I also like the character meet and greets! You can usually see several characters who are not out during the regular park days. For instance, Mr. Walrus, some of the princes, and a lot of the villians! Very cool! The shows are good also! We hardly ever ride anything, except for Haunted Mansion! Can't miss that!

IMO the parade is the best that disney puts on. We've seen them all but we really like "Boo to You". The fireworks are also awesome. Try to catch the Villen show in front of the castle if you have time, also a very catchy tune. We will be there on the 28th and 31st. See you there.

    14 more days!

Just went to the MNSSHP this past Thursday for the 1st time & I can say it is winderful! The parade is the best ever. We did the trick or treating around the park 2x. Never went on one ride as there is so much else to do. So many characters you normally dont see were out. Had our pictures taken with all the villians too!

We actually hit some of the rides because the wait times are low - we only waited 1 go-round for Dumbo. You just can't get that any day of the week. Hit some of the Photopass stops as well - great photo ops.

We went twice last month. It was awesome.
The parade and fireworks are of course a must do...in front of the Castle if you can.
The characters are great. Try to see the Stepsisters and Stepmother. They are great!!
The dance party's are fun for kids and fun to watch as adults.
We did not do too much trick or treating since we can do that at home. The little we did was fun though.
    The Villans party was good.
We also did the free face painting. Even me.

Have a great time. I have to say in all of the trips we have made to WDW, those two nights topped the list. Great event!!
