Thanks Jason ! I'm excited that the boys will be able to see the Jedi Academy next week - they are dressing at Darth Vadar & Storm Trooper for Halloween so I know this is something that they won't mind watching.

The Jedi Training stage is designed to look like the bunker on Endor during Return of the Jedi.... Looks cool from what I saw of it in pictures...

That's great that they have the Jedi Training Academy up and running all year now. We saw it at Disneyland and we'll be looking forward to it on our next trip to WDW!

Interesting ... I wonder what kind of "retrofit" they're going to do for PW? Maybe some kind of a safety issue?

Odd news about The Art of Disney Store, too, since they had one on Main Street before and then closed it.

Although I guess techincally that was a Disney Gallery, right?

I'm personally hoping that they make it more permanent looking...maybe even enclose it - that would be one wild dark ride.

That's actually a really good idea.

Although, in reality, as much as I think that ride is cute and kinda fun, I'd really prefer the bulldoze all of Dinoland and pretend it was a bad dream that never happened.

Should have originally mentioned (and now have added in) that the renovations were announced as tentatively lasting 45 - 60 days. Considering the amount of work Disney has recently completed in that same time period, it doesn't seem likely the changes would be as extensive as a permanent enclosure for the attraction.

... although I do think it would be a much needed improvement for the attraction.

This new T-Rex restaurant...

Will it have CS option like Yak and Yeti?

If not, that leaves 2.5 counter service restaurants at AK. Not enough for the size of the park.

While I understand they don't have much TS options there either, why did they take away an amazing CS restaurant to make it TS, when adding two more TS?

I know, I know, its all about money...

If it weren't for EE, Dinosaur, and ITTBAB, we wouldn't be visiting this park.

I guess we will go to AKL for our CS like we did this past trip.

T-Rex is being built in the Downtown Disney Marketplace, not the Animal Kingdom.

Ian, as much as we loved the Dinosaur ride, I have to agree w/ you about the rest of the area!!

If the rumours pan out, 2 duplicate Princess Rooms.

Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy would be near their (or owner's) namesake attractions if the rumours hold true.

Will the two duplicate princess rooms have the same princesses? Or will they have different ones? Seems kinda pointless to have the same characters in two rooms. Thanks

Since it is just rumours at this point in time, nothing more specific is concretely known.

According to Character Cast, yes.

The point is to provide a shorter queue time. Note that it is not being advertised as two duplicate rooms, rather just one room with now a magically faster moving queue.
