"Palmetto Bugs!"

As a previous poster said here in the south we just know them as cockroaches. Used to having them around, I don't presonally care for them, but that's why I have my wife - to kill them for me when I run screaming from the room!

Actually on this side of the state we do call them Palmetto Bugs.

We just arrived home from a week at the AKL and let me say this...the lovebug situation was out of control!!!!! They were everywhere!! In fact, we could rarely use our Savannah View balcony because we would get attacked. Even trying to dry off at the pool was a chore, because they landed on you! One teenage girl from England went after them with a can of bug spray, but all that did was tick them off!!! Anyway, never saw a palmetto bug the entire time we were there.
