Default Favorite Things About Disney World

For my 300 post I wanted to know why everyone loves Disney World so much. (I have seen topics like this before, but figured it was time to share again).

I love Disney World becuase it gives me something to look forward to all year. Hours and hours of planning. Day to day getting more and more excited about going.

    Ok you go....

I also love the planning. We aren't even going for another 2 years and I am planning every day! It keeps me busy and it makes me look forward to going even more each day!

I also like the "warm and fuzzy tingly" feeling I get just pulling up to our Disney resort or MK! It gets me every time!
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of everyday!!

I love the feeling I get (that Disney magic). When I'm there, I leave all my cares behind. I feel like a kid again.

We love Disney because it's a great time to have the family together for a vacation when everyone agrees on the same thing...lots of fun for all ages!

Yeah, Don't know what it is, but I can be so stressed and go to a park for a day and just not worry about thing and actually come home refreshed. Magic?

I love driving onto Disney property and knowing I have NO worries for the length of my stay. (Except for which ride to ride first!) I can just enjoy spending time with my family and/or friends. I can act like a kid again and nobody will notice because all of them are acting like kids again too!

I have always loved the peaceful fact that the outside world doesn't exist (although Hurricane Floyd did try to alter that) once I pass through those purple arches onto the Disney property. Looking at that castle always makes me feel like I did the first time I saw it (awestruck and happy). There's a part of me that always feels "at home" once I'm on Main Street and take in the castle view. My favorite thing now is that I get to share those feelings with my DS (5 yrs old). He loves being there as much as his mom. Priceless.....

What I love most about Disney...

The moment we are seated on ME bus and it starts to pull away.. that giddy, childlike overwhelming joyful feeling that makes my heart swell with happiness and my tummy full of butterflies. The innocence, awe, beauty, peace and fun. The look on my childrens faces each time they see Cinderella's castle. The tears of utter joy that sting my eyes during magical fireworks and magical moments that happen each and every vacation we take.

I too enjoy planning my vacations from the moment we land til the next flight to Disney leaves. As of now I have 350 days 13 hours and 21...20..19...18...

I love the "magic" also. Sitting at our site in Ft Wilderness after a good day in the parks, or hearing a boat horn for the first time each morning are also things I love. Pulling onto World Drive and knowing you are home is the best, along with seeing the castle the first time on a trip. I could go on and on....
