The "under construction" terminal at JFK is not new by any stretch of the imagination. They're doing asbestos abatement work on what was originally built by TWA. I'm not sure if JetBlue is going to be the only occupant of the building, which was designed by Eero Saarinen and opened originally in the early 60s, back when JFK was known as Idlewild Airport. A very contemporary building that's meant to evoke flight, is a historic landmark. Hopefully JetBlue will do it justice.

In the meantime, it's just a pain getting over there... no fair having to take any other transportation between NYC and WDW that isn't the monorail at MCO!

Now I'm confused. Where I was there were no windows. I was also really tired and really hungry so I was not really paying much attention to my surroundings. I ended up taking a cab home (long line, and they ran out....waited prob 30 minutes or more) but I was glad I did. I didn't land until about 10pm, and I ended up sleeping the entire cab ride home...my DH was with me though so it was okay.

sounds like you had a great first day, even though you were tired!! That's great!! I love the CBR... we stayed there last year, and it's our favorite. I'm glad your first day was so fun, and that the P&P party was so good - I hope they have one going on for our next trip!!
