    Red face Clueless about DVC

DH was asking me about the DVC & wether we should get involved. We have only gone in the last few years 2x. Now that we have an 9 month old we will probably go more. One question he asked is that would we be able to allow our older children to go on their own without us & use the facilities?

As I stated we have no clue about how this works. Can someone tell us & please leave nothing out. What is a good starting $, which is the better resort to choose, additional yearly fees, etc any info would be greatful.

There is a ton of information on this topic already. Check the "Reasons to buy/not to buy" threads at the top of the page for nitty-gritty details.

To answer your question about your adult kids traveling without you ... yes, you can do that. You can make reservations for anyone you want on your points.

Your best starting point is to order the Official DVD and Guidebook. That way you can watch the promotional tour of the DVC and read about it at your leisure.
Then, make a list of questions and call to speak with your assigned sales rep/guide. It is a totally "no pressure" situation, so don't worry about feeling guilty if you don't buy right away.

Read all the threads here that Ian suggested, and plan to visit the DVC office on your next vacation to WDW.
