    Default Dining Review-Liberty Tree Tavern

    June 25th
Party of 8-5 Adults, 3 Children
    All on Dining plan-2 checks

    ADR TIme 545
    Seating Time 545

There was a lot of people in the waiting area when we checked in so I was expecting a wait but they sat us almost immediately after checking in. They were turning away people with out ADR's.

    Set Menu
    Turkey
    Beef
    Ham
    Stuffing
    Mac and Cheese
    Mashed Potatoes
    Green Beans
    Gravy
    Apple cobbler with ice cream

    The cons:
Our server left something to be desired. We really never saw him. We were seated and 2 characters came before he asked about our drinks. The food was served before the drinks. Then we were never asked if we wanted anything else! The girl who cleareded our table, refilled our beverages. The server showed up again to bring our dessert. I was very unimpressed with the service, unfortuately.

    The pros:
The characters were great. They were interactive with the kids and signed all of the autograph books. Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale were all present in their colonial garb. The food was very good! I really enjoyed everything that was served and everyone was happy with thier meal and dessert.

Glad you enjoyed your time with the characters. Our server last month left something to be desired as well. I would try it again, but not anytime soon. Thanks for the review.

LTT is our one "can't miss" dinner! We have been many times and have never had a bad experience. If I ever do, I will see someone in management! It's just not a hard thing to be courteous, friendly and helpful to people! Especially when you're being paid to do it!

Our last trip (in Apr.) we had dinner at LTT and enjoyed it very much. As said, the character interaction is great and food was very good. Our waiter, too, left a lot to be desired. He would just disappear for long periods of time but we didn't let it spoil the meal. We will be going again with our "grand gathering" next year.

We never miss LTT. It's a family favorite. We've never had a problem with service - but it probably wouldn't matter anyway since we love the food and characters there.

Okay, I'm gonna be honest here.....

It was one of the worst meals we had. It truly tasted like a hospital meal (no kidding)....except for 2 things: the potatoes and the dessert.

    We won't be going back.

If you compare the quality of LTT to Le Celliers (and paying for the same thing if you are on the dining plan)....it's without a question --- no contest.

But -- to be positive, the characters were AWESOME!!!!! We got more pictures than you could imagine.

I have to say that we ate there once last year and thought the food tasted like a frozen dinner. How ever it was not really bad we just didnt think the food was worth the price. We had great service and of course Mickey's pals were great.

We aet there at least once or twice every year and have always loved the food and the character interaction. Only once have we had bad service....usually it is really good. In MHO, it is one of the best "all you can eat" character buffets.

It's hosted by Stouffers, so I would expect a lot of the food to taste like products Stouffers puts out in stores-- which isn't bad, but I prefer different things in a restaurant meal. This is why we've never tried it.

We ate at LTT for MVMCP one year and I thought the exact same thing! For the amount of money we spent I would rather eat at LeCellier or 'Ohana or something. My DD will not even let us give it a second chance.
    Characters were great though.

Gosh, I wished my hospital served food as good as LTT (and I've spent more than my share of time in the hospital over the past few years ).

Seriously though, we find the food at LTT to be decent enough, but if we want good eats there we go for LUNCH. The characters aren't there but the food is quite good (the best crab cakes on property IMHO) and the service was very good. And the ambience, lunch or dinner, is first rate.

.....just to clarify ---- we had the 'family dinner' which was ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, etc.

The other foods could be good, but we weren't given a menu. I think we went at dinner. We were served the family dinner and we had no other choice.

......it did taste like hospital food.....and/or frozen food (again....except for the mashed potatoes)....

    Oh well ----

I'll take Spoodles, O'Hanas, Le Cellier or other TS dinners...
