I can't tell you about that particular brand, but we have ones that are about the size of a water bottle and have straps and clips and we love them.

We also have the small one that is about short water bottle size. It's nice, especially if you put some ice in the water bottle. I've never brought ours to WDW only because a) I have way too much to carry already through the parks and b) I don't find it works too well when it's humid. We live in New Mexico so it's great here because it's so dry, but I never really thought about it working in the florida humidity. I do carry around a small battery powered fan that I use when waiting in line, but I'm wet enough as it is already!! Good luck in your search.

I bought this exact same bottle/mister at CVS for $7.50 2 weeks ago to use on our 9 day trip (just got home last night).
It was really too humid for it to make a difference. I was already drenched- so adding more wet mist didn't help at all.
If you are going at a more "dry" time of year, I think it would be beneficial. It is lightweight and compact and easily fit in one of the side pockets on my backpack. I also like the fact that it does not use batteries.
But for these hot & humid summer months, I don't think a mister will help anyone.

I have one and I think they are great. However, I find it too much to carry and I just leave mine at home.

We have a MistyMate brand water pump mister that we take with us on every trip. It is great to be able to spray your face down with the cool water and then make it even better with a little battery operated fan!

I second the misty mate. We use it every time we go to DL in the summer and our state fair. It's great. We can put some ice in it and then just add water, a few pumps and your set. We used it one day at the fair and only had to refill it twice in 10-12 hours at the fair.

We have been looking at the Misty Mate for our upcoming trip. One question if you don't mind, could you tell me if you have a problem with them leaking at all?? I read somewhere that they have a problem with leaking and I don't want to deal with that.

Thanks so much for any input!

I don't recall it ever leaking. I think that maybe one time we didn't get the cap on tight enough, and it poured out, but that was our fault. The one we got is about the size of a sport bottle and has a zippered insulator and a hand pump and hose with twist nozzel at the end that regulates how much mist comes out. Are we talking about the same one?

We have that version of the Misty Mate, but really prefer the larger pump model. We had 2 of the smaller ones and one got broken very easily. Also you can put ice in the larger pump models which makes a difference. We love our Misty mates and will be going with us Tomorrow!!!

I've never like the looks of the ones they sell at WDW and didn't want to carry it around. But a book I was reading on hints at WDW said to buy the cheaper ones at Walmart. When we went in June, I decided these might really be a good idea or just the little fans to use in line, etc. I never did buy one but am seriously thinking of buying a smaller one to fit in my bag for our trip in Aug. We wear the neck buddy that keeps you cool all day so don't know if we will need the misting fan or not.

    Default my suggestion is....

Misting only makes your clothes clingier(if that is a word) and the sun warms the water on you so minutes later you are hotter than you started out. I suggest each person in your party takes a ziploc baggie with a wet washcloth and a couple pieces of ice in it. That way you can get refreshed and can also get cleaned up if needed. Once it is dirty or warm, you take it in the bathroom wash it out, stop by any QS and get some free ice water, pour it on washcloth and again put some ice in bag. Feels GREAT on face and back of neck

We have been the last two years in June...we always buy the Disney mister fan..I agree that misting alone will do you no good, but the mist with the fan is heavenly in the Florida summer!

I have also purchased a couple of the small fans without misters and those were very good also

We bought the exact same things. Ours came in a pack of 3 and were the same price that your link had for 1. We got them at BJs wholesale club and plan on bringing them on our August trip. Tried them golfing and they worked pretty good. The really nice thing is no batteries!

I have two of those and they are pretty neat. I agree that they work better with a fan. My kids have these little fans they got a Wal-Mart that clip on their belt loop. Between the fans and those misters, we're a pretty "cool" bunch.

NOTE: I lost one in the parks. I checked lost and found but no one turned it in. I really missed it the rest of that trip.

We have one from our last trip that we purchased at WDW. It was around $15 or so. We just bought one and passed it around. I found it very refreshing and a cool souvenir to boot. It was a pain to carry even though It came with a lanyard type strap. We will have the stroller this time so I can store it there and we won't have to carry it around so much.
