    I agree. Gas imho, Isnt much of a factor anymore. Most folks have it budgeted and i dont think the price affects camping one bit. As the above poster stated...You certainly DO save alot if you have a tent or camper!!

    we travel from pennsylvania with a motor home towing a car. It would cost us about $700 to drive round trip. We decided that it was not worth it to go for just 1 week. This year we rented a house since there will be 14 of us, this was the most cost effective solution for us. We always drive, so the cost of airfare is not a factor. Plus I like to have my own car. Next time we will be staying for 2 weeks, so we will probably take the motor home.

    Do you really need the toad in WDW?

    We're taking the MH down in the fall, but I'm thinking of leaving my toad at home since I can use Disney transportation.

    Using our car is faster then disney transportation, so we prefer to drive to the parks. Plus we do go offsite to visit family while we are there, so a car is a necessity for us.
