Hello all!!
We are about ready for the trip to the Ft. I have heard that the wild fires are producing lots of smoke. Can anyone give an update on this???
Thanks!!

I would think, and hope, that by the time you arrive the fires will be out. Have a great trip, I am jealous If you are really concerned about it, you could call and ask them.

There was a discussion on another thread about the smoke and asthma. The poster claimed that the smoke could be smelled and anyone with an inhaler may want to keep it handy. Don't know if this helps or not.

I live just 20 minutes from FW. It was sunny and clear this morning, but very smoky this evening. I have to keep my windows tightly closed to keep it out. The afternoon sun was just a red disc in the sky. I would not want to be tent camping tonight. But keep in mind that Central Florida is subject to breezes that could quickly send the smoke out to sea. The situation seems to change from day to day. I hope that when you arrive things will be much better.
